SALES TAX
Because we do business in Wisconsin, we are required by law to collect all state and local sales taxes based on the destination of the order. The Internet Tax Moratorium only provides that no new taxes can be applied to the Internet itself and charges for Internet services, such as access charges. However, the Internet Tax Moratorium does not affect sellers who use the Internet as a medium to market their products. These sellers are subject to the same rules that have always applied to catalog sales, which means that sellers with a presence in a state must collect the state sales tax. Many states also tax the delivery charge you pay on orders sent to your home. TAX RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANYTIME WITHOUT NOTICE.

ORDER CANCELLATION
If for any reason you need to cancel an order, please use the CONTACT US section of this website to leave a message within 24 hours of placing your order. We will cancel your order if it has not already been shipped.
IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ONLINE?
Yes. Whenever you place an order on our website, your credit card information is protected by PayPal, using a sophisticated technology that encrypts all your private information as it travels over the internet.
SHIPPING/RETURNS
METHODS OF SHIPPING
FedEx, UPS and USPS are our major carriers. All ship times are in business days. Please allow 1 to 2 business days to process your order prior to shipping. Once an order is shipped, you will receive an email notification that includes a tracking number. This tracking number can be entered into the appropriate carrier’s website in order to follow the progress of the order.
Because of the individualized nature of the artwork of Thom J. Ertl Designs, product availability is on a first-come-first-serve basis, and pricing is subject to change without further notice. Shipping for both the Thommie Sqaures and Greeting Cards is a part of your purchase; however, because of the special dimensions and weight of both the furniture and wall art, delivery and special handling charges are based on total value of your order and the size, shape or weight of the item(s) being purchased.
If there is a delay in the shipping of part of your order, we will notify you of the item(s) that may be affected. Also, please note, depending on the size of the item ordered and the number of pieces requested, all items ordered may not arrive in the same box or on the same day.
OVERSIZE CHARGES AND SURCHARGES
A delivery surcharge or oversize charge will be added to certain items due to special handling and shipping requirements (size, weight, etc.). These oversize charges will be calculated for you during the checkout process.
Oversize Shipping: Some oversized items may be too large for FedEx or USPS shipping. Those items will be shipped to you via Freight Delivery with either curbside or in home delivery depending on the item. The freight companies will call you to setup a delivery time.
RETURN/CANCELLATIONS
We offer an easy 30 day return policy on most purchases. We will refund your order total, less our costs for shipping and handling each way. Please be mindful of the following details about returns made due to buyers remorse:
• For items that shipped free, you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us.
• An order cannot be cancelled once it has shipped. Once shipped, the standard return policy applies .
• Returned items must be in new condition and in the original packaging.
• Please do not modify the item before returning it or else we cannot refund your purchase. Please include any components of the item.
• Thom J. Ertl Designs will not accept returns after 30 days of order receipt.
• All returns must be accompanied by the proper return authorization form that will be provided by a service representative. Customized orders cannot be returned:
DAMAGED ITEMS
We require our partners to meet package requirements to ensure the lowest damage rates for packages but in instances beyond our control, the item gets damaged in transit. When you receive your package, we strongly advise you to completely inspect the shipment. If the item arrived damaged, it is IMPORTANT to note in the delivery receipt “DAMAGED”; and REFUSE to receive it. Immediately notify us so we can expect the package back. If delivery receipt is not noted with damage, we assume that the item is delivered at its right condition.
For concealed damages after the receipt is signed and the driver left, please inform us immediately and provide clear images of the damaged parts of the item (including the packaging) as these are required by the carrier. Contact us immediately and send us the clear images. This will make our process efficient and faster. Email pictures to: thomertl@gmail.com
All damage claims are reviewed within 72 hours. We will then ship out a repaired item (per your request) and issue the damaged item to be picked up from your residence or supply the missing parts (if package is incomplete) for free shipping. All claims must be filed within 5 days after the item has been delivered.

Pack and seal your return securely in the original package if possible. Packages must be returned prepaid. We recommend you insure all packages. Thom J. Ertl Designs cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries for return shipment
